Omar Francis has been a fixture on the Kingston music scene for more than thirty years. From playing in backing bands at Reggae Sunsplash and Sumfest with some of the biggest Jamaican acts (Toots Hibbert, Barrington Levy or Ken Booth for example) to touring the world with reggae band Rootz Underground, there's not much of the reggae world that he hasn't seen or been part of. But a lifelong interest in jazz rock blues and other musics from all over the world has meant that he's never been comfortable staying in musical place. Currently the guitar teacher at Edna Manley College of the visual and performing arts and at Alpha Music institute, Francis is also one othe founding organizers of "The jam is back" a decades old jam session in the Kingston live music scene

Reel to Reel Drums Vol. 2 is an analog, one-shot, drum sample pack, comprised of a vintage Pearl drum set, recorded to the venerable Tascam 388 1/4" tape machine. The sounds are dry and fat, sure to make your programmed drums sound organic and head nod worthy.
