This has been requested by a couple of people and as a result it provides an easy way to use your own samples in this sophisticated Synth engine.

We have recorded a large collection of pianos including Mornington & Weston, a Collard piano from the 19th century, an old saloon-piano and even a piano harmonium, a one of a kind instrument combining a traditional piano with an harmonium apparatus.

Scoring Piano is a Steinway Model B piano, sampled in a great studio near Florence, Tuscany. This instrument will find a perfect spot for any kind of soundtrack and, like My Piano, for jazz and classical music. We have tried to take the softest dynamics particularly into account. Moreover, thanks to our Dynamic Range Control, it is very easy to achieve that "Thomas Newman" cinematic sound. In addition to this, Scoring Piano features a great dynamic range, enabling you to play any kind of music genres.

Ambient Tape Machines - C1 was created by first capturing 3 unique raw sets of samples, recording them onto cassette tape, and then playing them back at full and half speed on a vintage Library Of Congress C1 cassette player.

Fission A is a new library for Kontakt 6 and is inspired by works of Hildur Guðnadóttir and specially her soundtrack for the outstanding HBO serie Chernobyl. Now, we present “Largo”, where we have finally created a set of performances that typify the kind of scoring of classic film scores and historical features. The emphasis here is on strong thematic writing with smooth, yet dramatic transitions between the notes.

Many people assume that Sonokinetic’s signature sound is grand and statuesque, as we fill our recording space with many talented players and layer phrases together in our bespoke Kontakt engines. However, sometimes it’s great to dial things down for a more personal feel, and that’s just what we’ve done with Indie. The style of these intimate ensemble phrases take their lead from modern TV drama, boutique film and independent video games with a naked and personal sound.

We've always loved the sound of jazz-influenced film scores. The orchestral approach to jazz harmony has a romantic flair that is irresistible and has easily stood the test of time. We just can't get enough of sweeping string passages, the sound of a trumpet's harmon mute, a big band sax section, flugelhorn and trombones with french horns. For many years we've felt the urge to create a product encompassing this style of music and now we have:

Recording these Carillon bells was a challenge, but one which we relished. These are real clock tower bells weighing up to half a ton on the biggest set, so it's a very powerful sound which we captured in great detail. Once we had managed to get these large bells into the studio (with the help of some heavy lifting equipment) we set about recording them with two different mallet types.
