Being here, to be there Erhu is a bowed instrument with two strings, originally dated back to Tang Dynasty(7th century A.D.), and is still being widely used today all over China in all kinds of music, from movie scores to opera. It's one of the most representative classical Chinese instruments nowadays. It's also very popular in the whole Asia.

Characterized by the triste tone, GuanZi (literally means Pipe) is a one-of-a-kind double-reed instrument from China. Originated in Central Asia, like many other existing Chinese instruments, GuanZi was embraced dearly and became an integral part of Chinese instruments ever since the great Tang Dynasty (7th -10th centuries).

Besides the horse-headed pegbox, Matouqin is very recognizable for its unusual playing techniques and styles. Our production approached Matouqin in pursuit of the indigenous flavour instead of the more Westernized style, and by delivering that flavour, all the composers and musicians now have a chance to explore and express in the most authentic and original Mongolian flavour easily.

Xun. One of the earliest instruments in China. Archeological excavation discovered Xun from sites more than 7,000 years ago. It is very similar to orcarina, but without a fipple. Xun is considered as a ritual instrument in Chinese history.

A collection of Kontakt Instrument from the mangled sounds of a 20 year old Radio-shack Vox Voice Recorder. The sounds are in 3 categories: Ambient, FX, and Synth-like. These sounds include drones, soundscapes, riser and drop like sounds, and just plain mangled sounds. Most of the ambient sounds are looped seamlessly.

Metamorpha is the first in a new smaller series of libraries we’ll be releasing. The idea behind this is to have beautiful little instruments at your fingertips that inspire you and that do not have an overcomplicated engine. First of all it’s just plug&play. The Instruments will both be based on the original recordings of a bigger library, with pushing it into a different direction mood wise tough. But also sampled instruments, that have been recorded for this series exclusively like a Glockenspiel, various Bells etc. Metamorpha:Allmosphere is based on our recent library Broken Bells, which has been produced in collaboration with Erick McNerney, who is best known for his work with Beautiful Void Audio, Halflightsampling and Audio Reward.

Though called “Broken Bells,” bells are not the only thing that was sampled. While we did sample some traditional bells, we also sampled tibetan singing bowls, kitchen mixing bowls, vases, wine glasses other random objects which gave a “ringing” sound which we thought was cool. We also bowed a variety of objects, including the objects mentioned above, but also a giant tin cylinder which once held the Christmas popcorn from last year. Broken Bells marks the direct opposite to our library Talua since it focuses on the dark and rusty nature of hit and bowed bell tones while Talua carries those crystal sounding glass instruments so if you’re in need for that rusty and dirty and also really imperfect bell sounds then Broken Bells is for you.
