Our entry in the 2023 KVR Developer Challenge. Black And Blue Basses is a sample library of two 5-string bass guitars: a black hollowbody played with the fingers, and a blue solidbody played with a pick. Over 2000 samples adding up to more than a gigabyte.

Drums that are not nice and easy, but nice and rough! Samples of drums made by Zygmunt Szpaderski in a one-man workshop in Poland. They're big, and they've gotten kind of rusty over the decades. We matched them with an even larger floor tom made from an Estonian-made RMIF kick drum, and some nice modern cymbals. While we paid the equivalent of $111.68 for the Szpaderski kit with hardware, stands and cymbals, the Sabian ride cost more than four times as much, and we don't care - they are a good match sonically.

We teamed up with acclaimed sound practitioner René Jenkins to bring you a fantastic catalog of indigenous Central American drone flutes, in the Mayan, Aztec and Zapotec traditions. René performed with six of his favorite 2, 3 and 4-chambered flutes at the giant cathedral-like St Paul's Church in San Francisco. We recorded improvised melodic phrases in meticulous detail, perfect for cinematic compositions, game scoring, atmospheric songwriting, folk music and creative sound design.
