Cherry Box is meant to highlight gear that falls under the radar. For this first pack we used our beloved Nord Drum Synthesizer. This machine is able to craft a staggering amount of drum sounds through it's simple yet vast editing system and only recently have people begun to understand how great it is. Hard and deep drums that be used in all sorts of genres from hip-hop, trap, pop and more. Using this box along with our trusted outboard gear we were able to design all new drums with the right amount of saturation and grit.

This 50W class AB 6L6 based circuit is the amp that has defined what is most associated with "american tone". It is best known for its legendary sparkly and slightly scooped tone, which is instantly recognizable and also works really well with pedals. It gets a nice break-up without the help of pedals and it sounds brighter and a bit scooped compared to the "british tone" camp.

ATTENTION! Core DI sets contain the main tones (bright, balanced and warm EQ settings) for the particular amp. Expansion DI set contains additional tones (thin, fat and scooped EQ settings).Core DI sets contain close mic'd IR cabs, Expansion DI sets contain "amp-in-a-room" IR cabs that need an external IR loader for the full 1-2 second length of the files. The "amp-in-a-room" IR's are meant to bixed in with the close mic'd cabs for extremely realistic room sounds.

The TK IMP MKII is one of the most desirable current production amps and we totally understand why. The amp is voiced towards a Blackface style american tonality, but it has more midrange and sounds less brittle than these classic American amps tend to be. This especially pays off in the crunch and drive department, where this amp shines just as well as with it's percussive and big sounding cleans that are suprprising for a lower power 6V6 amp.
