The VSE-4 plugin is inspired by the musical sound of the VSE-2 EQ, but presents its own unique sonic identity, integrated in a highly flexible user interface concept. With a fully parametric and modular design and its unique Saturation and FM Drive controls, the VSE-4 provides precise and musical EQing with analog sound, as well as exceptional control over the nonlinear behaviour of the filters. This enables the creation of more complex frequency-based distortion effects.

The valve distortion and saturation generators are based on the the W. Frank Custom Tube Desk circuitry from 1959 wich we brought back to life with my former company HE Studiotechnik. The W. Frank Custom Console is packed with huge transformers, clever valve circuits and passive filters.

Sleep System - 32 dark ambient patches for Phase Plant Utilising a pool of original sample content both in the sample playback module and to create a set of new wavetables, SleepSystem explores some of the scope for evolving, complex pads, keys and FX within Phase Plant. Warm, expansive and noisy to cold, digital and glitchy. The pack consists mainly of pad sounds with a few keys, one fx/drone and a couple of bass sounds.

The pack contains 40 patches and all are based on the embedded 'ROM' waveforms which come built in to the TAL Sampler. So the root of all the patches is a combination of only simple Saw, Rect, Pulse, Sine and Noise samples.
