Romania is a collection of 15 Analog drum breaks, including over 130 + 1 shots of Kicks, Snares, Hi Hats, Congas, Bongos, Cymbals, and Percussions. Heavily inspired by the most rare Romanian Fusion, Progressive Rock & Psychedelic tones & rhythms of the early to mid 70's. Recorded and processed thru tons of analog tube gear, vintage mics, natural room reverbs, EMT 140 plate, RE201 and tape machines to give each break the characteristic and texture of an obscure Eastern European record.

Recently we have decided to dig through our extensive collection of percussions gathered through the years, in a search for some fresh and organic sounding samples. Using HQ mics and preamps we have recorded various instruments, from cajon, conga, djembe, shakers to classic acoustic drum set elements like snare, kick, toms, cymbals & hats. Also included is a selection of unexpected foley percussive sounds.

Attached to this post are the files from the latest video :) The Ableton Stock-Kalimba instrument rack, the lo-fi effect racks and the Serum preset from the start of the video.

A collection of chopped drum breaks sampled from vinyls, at various sample rates, with the Boss SP-202 Dr Sample. From the machine these are then resampled through a PreSonus BlueTube DP v2 tube preamp, and chopped on the Roland SP-404A. Each of the 10 Kits have multiple variations of their kicks, snares and hats.
