The patches contained sound richly detailed, and are also designed to be quickly usable in a real-world composition & production environment. Injection consists of 150 patches, including hugely detailed soundscapes and ambient atmospheres, rich pads, evocative keys, huge bass, and more. The aim of Injection was to enhance Serum with a strong, well-rounded cinematic soundset with a unique flavour, equally at home as a modern electronic & organic production palette and as a modern scoring tool. As such, Injection makes the most of Serum’s custom wavetable functionality, using a full set of specially designed custom wavetables to inject a unique flavour into the sound-set. Sound sources range from a variety of analog synths through to a selection of acoustic and field recordings – all of which were heavily processed for maximum usability.

The Library contains 30 instruments featuring “filter-less” and “non-substractive” sounds that stand out thru their rich harmonic content and agile brightness. Each instrument is based on its unique set of velocity-layered multi-samples.

Live Pack and ReFill contain 35 instruments that perfectly capture the spirit of this classic hybrid. The Racks/Combinators have a standardized macro layout which is easy to familiarize with. So hot-swapping through the included Basses, Keys, Pads, Brasses and FX sounds is absolutely painless. Nevertheless all macros controls are multi-connected to more than 20 parameters per instrument which invites for a comfortable in-depth tweaking of the sounds.

Piano is a multi-sampled Upright Piano. Hosted in a small venue right beside an auto shop it has undergone numerous Jazz and Blues sessions throughout the decades. The Live Pack contains the Piano with adjustable sustain and release samples plus 7 additional instruments that push sound far beyond the original.

The Cimbalom is a chordophone composed of a trapezoidal box with metal strings stretched across its top. It is commonly found throughout the Balkan states and in 1890 it was proclaimed the national instrument of Hungary. The instrument sampled for this library is a chromatic Schunda model from Budapest.
