Anthology 1 is the first release in a new series of sounds where we are focusing on the sound of classic synthesizers. For the first release we drew our inspiration of four of the biggest analog synthesizer giants on the planet:the Roland Jupiter 8, Oberheim OB8, Yamaha CS80 and the Prophet 5.

Vinny returns with the second volume of the Young Buddha sample library. Vol. 2 features sounds from vintage synths such as the Roland JP-8000, Korg MS-20, Mellotron, Clavia Nord Lead, and the Korg Prologue. The textures of these samples elicit feelings of melancholy, being lifted, among others. Combining vocals chops, live instrument recordings, and vintage synths expand the range of the Young Buddha sample series.

For this collection, our production team’s main focus was creating melodies that you could easily land on a billboard charting record! I finally get to share some of my signature samples in a big way with my community of producers in this sample pack. These samples focus mostly on my drums, 808s, percussion and FX. The majority of them are my go-to sounds right now for creating punchy trap or future tracks. I’ve pulled my drum, FX and synth samples from my most popular tracks and a couple of unreleased ones as well so you should recognize most of them if you’re familiar with my productions. I’ve relied greatly on sample packs like this that other friends and producers have shared so I’m happy to give back. We are all pushing each other to grow and get better with our work.
