Dirty Disco Vol. 2 was crafted by That Sound’s Grammy-winning co-founder and drum extraordinaire, Paul Mabury with Javier Solis as a featured guest on percussion. Inspired by the disco music of the 1970s and ‘80s, this pack features tight and punchy drums, as well as a wide variety of complimentary percussion one-shots and loops. To maintain authenticity, the musicians used 1980s Rodgers and Yamaha drum kits with CB-700 concert toms.

A collection of drum breaks sampled from vinyl and chopped into gritty lo-fi kits. Sampled with the Boss SP-202 Dr Sample at various sample rates then chopped and EQ'd on the Boss SP-303. From the machine these are run through a PreSonus BlueTube DP v2 tube preamp to make them extra crispy.
