I've dropped not only how to, but the patches! All the patches are in VST 3, so they're easily able to be opened by anyone in Ableton. Just requires Serum 2, and stock Ableton FX. (No 3rd party VST's WHEW!) We do use Hybrid Reverb from Ableton, and talk through convolution layers, so for my advanced students, this is where you may see a ton of value as a lot of producers are layering with convolution these days!

Sharing some strategies I go into when I mix and master any record, and some major tips that can really change your sound!

Put together a little tutorial of how I layer and post process my chug / stomp basses. I used my track "Leaving" as an example here and went into detail on all the processing & group processing!

Experimenting with multipass. Set out to get a tearout bass, but ended up with a sick chug bass. I usually follow this formula on processing to get tearout basses, but always remember to go in with an open mind and you'll always make something sick.

Used Mulitpass & Serum 2 to get some sick basses + showed key ways to make your sub smack. Highly recommend Rift 2 & KHS Shaper Table if you haven't used it + Parallel processing everything you can.
