Tutorial 1 - Building The Track From Scratch
In the first course you will build a complete electronic dance music track from scratch in Cubase, following along step by step from the very first sound to the final exported mix. Crucially, you will not just learn individual tools in isolation - you will learn the complete start to finish production process and how everything fits together, so when you come to make your own music you can apply what you have learned in an organised and usable way.

You will start by learning the Cubase interface while bringing in your first sounds, then build a chord structure - no music theory required, Cubase has the tools built in. That foundation becomes the basis for everything else: leads, arpeggiators, basslines, pads and piano using Cubase's built in Halion and free VSTs that you can take into all your future projects.

You will then learn song arrangement, how to structure a track so it takes the listener on a journey with tension, release and movement throughout. From there you will record and process vocals, covering mic setup, comping multiple takes, pitch and timing correction, and vocal processing. The course finishes with mixing, mastering and exporting your completed track ready to share with the world.

By the end you will have a finished track you made yourself, and a repeatable process you can take straight into your own projects.

Tutorial 2 - Going From Beginner To Pro
This is where the real transformation happens. We take the exact Cubase project file from the final lesson of Course 1, the track you just built, and systematically upgrade almost every element of it. Arrangement, sounds, mixing, processing, and more are all revisited and improved, taking the mix from a solid beginner level to a commercial, release-ready standard.

The course is structured into focused modules so you always know what you are working on and why. You will learn how to create more emotion in your arrangement, how to layer and add new elements to build energy, how to craft a stronger chorus that really lands, and how to tighten and polish the full mix. The mixing modules go deep, covering advanced EQ and compression, reference track techniques, low end and kick drum processing, multiband compression on leads, and how to use reverb correctly across all elements of a track rather than just as an afterthought.
