This course teaches the fundamental basics of working with synthesizers and how to create various sounds with them.

Learn how to recognize and work with synth components such as oscillator, filter, LFO, envelope, etc. During the course the students will also learn which effects are most commonly used with synthesizers in order to enhance the sonic qualities of various synth patches.

We will start by learning all there is to know about the 5 most essential synth components and what it is that each one of them can do in order to shape your sound.

After the components, we will turn our attention to basic SFX that are commonly used with synthesizers (reverb, delay, modulation etc...) and how we can utilize them in order to make our synth patches sounding bigger.

The course shows all the necessary steps to create various types of most common synth sounds, such as bass, leads, pads, short plucked and arpeggio sounds, as well as various types of synth percussion.

Additionally, the students will be presented with the basics of modular synthesis environment and how to build their own synths with various selection of components, which they can use in order to build sound patches.

By the end of this course, students will have the basic knowledge and understanding on how to create any type of sound on any type of synthesizer.
