DescriptionThis course is for the beginner who aims to go far with the guitar. Through learning songs with both a rhythm (strumming) and a lead (picking) element, the student will develop both worlds of guitar at an even pace. Each song in this course contains both a riff and chord component, giving you a chance to interchange between these fundamental skills. At the same time, we'll look at a wide variety of techniques that the budding guitarist needs to know such as hammers, pull-offs, vibrato, muting, as well as a deep dive into rhythm and timing. This course makes use of Graphic Notation in all the guitar tabs, a unique and helpful framework. This means the riffs are accurately rendered on a visual timing plane, helping the student to see, understand the timing of the music. This makes a huge difference in developing a great 'feel' for music. Each lesson is taught step by step, going at a pace that allows students to follow along and learn as they go. Students get lifetime access to all the lectures and content, and are able to come back to it at any time.Playing music is one of the greatest skills one can learn. Let's do this!
