This collection of EZkeys MIDI features 20 individual “songs” inspired by a wealth of modern and hook-heavy electronic dance music where the keys, naturally, have a dominant role. Each song was broken down in three separate ‘Chords,’ ‘Melody’ and ‘Arpeggio’ sections with subfolders for a selection of ‘Breakdown/Buildup’ or ‘Drop’ parts in each song. This will allow you to drag, drop, mix, match, tweak, slice, dice and assign different sound sources to the parts to create your own sonic textures in your DAW. Diffuse is inspired by classic hardware delay and reverb effects from the 1970's and 1980's. It takes a Surreal Machines look at the frontier between delays and reverbs. Diffuse is an analog/digital hybrid - an analog modelled delay fused with a classic reverb design used in early digital units. In Diffuse you get more than the best of both worlds - you can morph between delays and reverbs, and find all kinds of fantastical sounds in between the two! You'll also find plenty of nonlinearities and smooth tape-style delay changes. In Diffuse​, all engine parameters are decoupled from the user parameters and simplified into elegant macros to give you complete control over smearing, echoes and damping in the most intuitive way possible.

Crack is a workhorse of a plugin. It's great on just one drum or for quickly adjusting a loop and is cheap on your CPU so you can load it up across all your tracks. Its other advantage is that it can be blended with the dry signal using the Dry/Wet knob, so you can dial in the amount of the effect. Like Impact, Crack features a custom limiter for peak reduction, soft analog-modeled clipping, and a maximizer specially tuned for use with transient materials.

Stator is a tape wobble simulator. It uses a creative approach to replicate the effects of speed fluctuations in tape machines: wow and flutter coming from uneven electric motor rotation and tape feed, as well as scrape flutter caused by the friction of the tape against the tape head. The result is a complex speed modulation signal that produces a wide variety of pitch drift and lo-fi jitter effects – similar to the sound of worn-out, unstable audio and video cassette players. Stator also employs individual stereo widening formulas in each of its three modulation components, plus it has variable channel crosstalk for adding chorusing and phasing artifacts – and creating sounds with a truly beautiful vintage vibe.

Dipole is a through-zero flanger effect plugin. It employs two delay lines with dual-mode feedback, and one of the delays is able to run earlier or later in time in relation to another. As this time difference passes through the zero point, a very special sound transition occurs: with positive feedback, Dipole produces that coveted spectral “swoosh” effect of a jet plane fly-by – and with negative feedback the output signal warps and eventually cancels itself out. In the old days of audio production, such effects were created manually using two parallel tape machines - but now Dipole recreates that charismatic flanging, chorusing and psychedelic stereo widening with much higher fidelity and ease of use. The plugin offers both manual control of the zero point as well as modulation via its built-in multi-waveform generator.

Corrosion is a multi-algorithm distortion effect plugin. It is based on a DSP engine built with 4x oversampling, which uses analog-style anti-aliasing filters for an unusually smooth but robust sound character. Corrosion includes a wide selection of different distortion algorithms, from classic clippers and folders to very unique curves invented at Sinevibes. Distortion gain can go up to 24 dB and has a tilt control for natural stereo width effects, plus the plugin also features an exponential gate which can be used for both for noise reduction on analog recordings - as well as more creatively to “chop” audio. With its special ability to adjust the upsampling filter's cutoff frequency and mix in the dry input signal processed via a steep high-pass filter, Corrosion delivers a huge variety of sophisticated distortion effects, from subtle boosting and drive all the way to dramatic waveform bending, warping and destruction - and it does so via extremely simple controls.
