Rackmode Signal Processors is a bundle of seven virtual effects and an instrument plugin that replicate the classic rack-mounted Moog Signal Processors of the 1970s and ‘80s. This exclusive collection is the first time this entire line of renowned analog treasures has been recreated as virtual effects. Rackmode also marks our latest collaboration with award-winning synth designer and DSP legend Mark Barton (MRB), who modeled the circuit-precise emulations based on the original rack-mounted hardware.

The Cherry Audio Quadra is a super-accurate and immensely improved emulation of the ARP Quadra synthesizer, originally released in 1978 - a rare and coveted “unicorn” instrument in the synthesizer world, reproduced for the first time as a virtual instrument.

PS-20 is an ultra-realistic, polyphonic, hot-rodded tribute to Korg's renowned MS-20. First and foremost, PS-20's dual highpass/lowpass filters super accurately recreate the MS-20's famous raunchy sound in all of its squelchy, screaming glory. In addition to its unique filters, the MS-20’s other signature feature is its modular-style patch panel. We’ve reconfigured the patch panel from the original instrument, adding many desired in and out patch points for all oscillators, filters, and VCAs, correcting the confusing terminology of the original, and throwing in a few extras that greatly expand its usability.

Polymode is inspired by the groundbreaking Moog Polymoog synthesizer. One of the world’s first polyphonic synthesizers, its unique multiple parallel filter implementation and mod routings give it a sound like no other synth. And though the original Polymoog sounded incredible, it could be challenging to operate and was prone to breakdowns. Cherry Audio’s Polymode sidesteps all of the drawbacks of the original instrument and massively expands its capabilities. With a streamlined user interface and immense modulation capabilities, Polymode sets a new standard for animated, sonically evolving string, pad, and choral tones.

Mercury-4 is a detailed emulation of one of the best-sounding and quirkiest polyphonic synthesizers of the late 1970's, the Roland Jupiter-4. It’s the rarest and most sonically unique of the fabled Jupiter series, and we’ve gone to great lengths to recreate the subtle (and not-so-subtle) nuances and character of this beloved classic. Every aspect of Mercury-4 has been expertly modeled upon a vintage Jupiter-4 originally owned by Greg Hawkes of the legendary 80’s new wave band The Cars, and played on their double-platinum 1981 album Shake It Up. In Greg’s words, Mercury-4 “sounds just like my old Jupiter! It’s nice to have it back.”

Memorymode is based upon one of the very best-sounding polyphonic programmable analog synthesizers of the 80s - the legendary Memorymoog synthesizer. Released in 1982, the Memorymoog raised the sonic bar with its lush, powerful analog sound. Memorymode was expertly modeled upon a vintage Memorymoog originally owned by jazz legend Chick Corea. It expands upon the original without compromising any of the sound or functionality that made it great, and does away with the reliability, maintenance, and tuning issues of the original. The user interface has been streamlined and simplified, updating the original instrument’s numeric-keypad-and-command-numbers with fast, simple-to-use pop-up menus and an improved value display window.

Our most ambitious instrument to date, Cherry Audio’s Eight Voice polyphonic synthesizer meticulously emulates the immense sound of the Oberheim® Eight Voice, one of the world’s rarest and most desirable vintage instruments. Predating modern microprocessor control, its eight independent dual-oscillator voice modules could be challenging to program. Cherry Audio Eight Voice’s unique Voice Link controls allow simple and powerful grouping of voice module controls, eliminating individually setting each module's controls when homogenous poly sounds are desired. Focus buttons allow instant enlargement of any section of the user interface, making sound programming a breeze, and massively flexible keyboard assign modes enable endless mono and poly keyboard zoning and layering options. All in all, we’ve transformed the original’s daunting user interface into a fun and inviting mondo poly synth experience.

Cherry Audio's Dreamsynth is a tribute to the celebrated hybrid analog/digital synthesizers of the mid-to-late 1980s. The innovative design blends flexible dual-wave morphing oscillators, stereo filters, fully polyphonic analog strings, extensive and easy-to-use modulation, studio-quality effects, and polyphonic aftertouch and MPE support, all in an elegant vintage-style synth interface.

The Cherry Audio CA2600 is a powerful, self-contained duophonic synthesizer inspired by the groundbreaking ARP 2600 synthesizer. Every aspect of the original, from the quirky oscillator waves, to the powerful ladder filter, to the external audio input and preamp section was modeled with tremendous precision. Though it features similar functionality, it’s been thoughtfully updated for increased flexibility - with semi-normalled patch cabling, integrated effects, and no hidden windows or menus in the audio path, CA2600 delivers an unprecedented hands-on, “everything right in front of you, right now!,” vintage synthesis experience like no other.

Meet the DCO-106 Recreating the sound of a classic synthesizer is no easy task. DCO-106 lovingly recreates the unique sonic footprint of one of the most iconic 80’s polysynths in exhaustive detail, while adding modern features for massively expanded creativity.

There is nothing analog about a Rack Extension, so why pretend. The Digital Filter takes full advantage of modern signal processing techniques and for the first time provides Continuously Variable Slope. You can now morph between the classic response of a 4-pole filter (Moog), to the subtle sounds of a 2-pole filter (Oberheim), and for an extremely steep cutoff all the way up to a 12-pole filter. And everything in between, you can even play with odd order filters if you like. It's shaping up to be the only filter you'll need in your toolbox, though you might want more than one instance.

X-Impact Synthesizer - an instrument inspired by one of the most popular analog synthesizers of all times. Developed by the known trance producer Adrian Wójcik aka. A.R.D.I. from Poland. X-IMPACT is based on 3 oscillators to allow you to create interesting sounds at a global level in a fast and easy way. Available as Rack Extension format. X-Impact is a sonic playground that alludes to classic analog synthesizers - where synthesis is not only the end result, but also a journey of discovery and experimentation. X-Impact is capable of producing highly complex sounds and modulations, its design is easy enough that amateur music producers can easily discover and experience the joy and magic of X-Impact synthesis.

Sinc Vereor is a powerful synthesizer hidden behind a deceptively simple interface. This wavemorphing subtractive synth uses familiar controls to create unusual sounds different from what you'd expect from a similar package. Noise mode incorporates an adjustable-bandwidth "artifactful" self-similar noise source. All modes also incorporate a wavefolder. Add in a multimode filter and VCA controlled by an ADSR envelope and a vintage-inspired chorus, Sinc Vereor allows for precise tone creation from simple and melodic to all-out noisy and unapologetically digital.

Manis Iteritas Vereor was inspired but our Eurorack module and earlier Rack Extension Manis Iteritas. The original is known for its untamed, aggressive edge. Manis Iteritas Vereor moves in a more controlled and tonal direction (while keeping its signature aggressive edge). Utilizing its famed six-operator saw-based additive and phase-modulation synthesis algorithms, MIV creates sounds ranging from beautiful organs, pads, and plucks to experimental and noisy sounds like you've never heard before.

Manis Iteritas uses the synthesis of the popular Eurorack hardware voice by Noise Engineering. Manis Iteritas is based on our Basimilus Iteritas, but is designed to be more gritty and aggressive. At its core are six additive oscillators that are configured in different ways in three modes. It uses only sawtooth waves that are manipulated, modulated, and distorted through a rethought interface. It can be unapologetically aggressive or surprisingly beautiful. Manis is suitable for leads, bass lines, drums, darkness, detuned madness, or pure mayhem.
