In the late 80's Soldano gained worldwide recognition for their signature high-gain amplifiers and this amp is no exception to that rule. The Normal Channel of the HR50+ is a unique circuit to Soldano that is great for clean to crunch tones reminiscent of vintage Marshall but with some added low end. However, the Overdrive Channel is what we are all here for! The OD Channel on the HR50+ is the exact same circuit as the world-famous SLO circuit from Soldano, delivering crushing high-gain tones that are sure to make you smile! While the circuit is essentially a hot-rodded Super Lead, Soldano has worked in some of their own magic to create a signature gain sound of their own.
