However, with his most recent venture, his own label, SpentShell, Flowdan has transitioned from MC to producer composing tracks for artists PK and GHSTLY XXVII, as well as his own self-produced work, such as ‘The Red Pill' EP, showcasing a vibrant new side to his artistry.

Never the type of producer to stick to only one genre of music, Westside Rage represents the quintessential sound of Curtiss King, who's produced for Kendrick Lamar, Lil Skies, Ab-Soul, E-40, MURS, Krizz Kaliko, Levi’s, and Overwatch League. Westside Rage is a sonic buffet - a range of soulful keys, bright retro synthesizers over crunchy percussion, and stadium-sized drums.

Inspiration for Splice Originals - Gutta: Hard Trap comes from the sounds of grimy street rap such as Lil Baby, EST Gee, and 42 Dugg. You’ll find lots of pianos chopped with Gross Beat from Fruity Loops and filtered to get that dark sound. Synths come from the Arturia V8 plugin using heavy saturation. We brought in strings and brass with the new Triton Extreme plugin. Other strings, plucks, and choirs came from the Mellotron with tons of filtering, chopping, and reverb to get that haunting vibe. You can’t have grime without that bounce. Drums are hard-hitting with kicks, snares, and 808s rounding out this pack and bringing it alive.
