Runnit Octo Patches (4 patches for FL25)

Runnit Octo Patches (4 patches for FL25)

Hey gang! as the finale for October, I have for you 4 new patches to upgrade your sound design in FL.

Octo Comb uses 16 fruity delay3's to create compounding comb / resonator textures.
-Use the envelope follower to keep feedback in-check.
-the dry/wet knob controls how much of each signal flows into the next comb layer.
-sub thru keeps your sub clean and bypasses the delays.
-the spread slider consecutively adds longer comb delays, warping things toward a reverb.

Scream Filter unlocks new and aggressive capabilities with fruity delay3's "feedback distortion" section.
-the middle XY plot helps you find the right balance between delay time and the feedback cutoff, which kills the feedback loop.
-the left red knob is the level of distortion inside the loop
-the right blue knob is a lowpass / bandpass filter that can be placed before or after the loop
-the refresh gate lets you pick a threshold where it opens the delay and kills it when the incoming volume gets lower. great for keeping the feedback loop in-check and musical
-the pos button turns the input signal flips the negative side of the waveform and creates a rectified / octaved sounding feedback loop
-the 1/2 button kills one half of the wave which gives it more of a ringmod/crunched sound
-the╭- button switches the distortion knee from soft to hard for a brighter feedback sound
-the button flips on the "keep pitch" option inside Delay3, which makes the feedback loop sound more resonant and unstable.
-switching on the stereo button allows you to create even more dissonant tones by using the width and diff knobs. width will offset the right and left delays for a wider sound.
-the dist knob adds additional hard distortion after the feedback loop and LP filter. great for aggressive overtone sound design.

X Flanger layers multiple fruity flangers in serial for some exaggerated metallic resonation. Great on snares or even phasey riddim bass design
-the spread digit lets you offset the flanger delays out evenly for a more diffused and complex tone, phase cancellation will cause a deep dip in volume so its recommended to use OTT or tons of gain if using the spread
-the left four knobs correlate to the basic knobs inside fruity flanger
-the bypass is similar to OctoComb and will protect your sub frequencies below the designated Hz
**Fruity flanger has a true inverted feedback unlike delay3 so this can sound different and more metallic than OctoComb; downside is it has "zipper noise" when tweaking parameters.

Octo Chorus pushes FL's hyper chorus into a more phasey ridiculous territory with up to 8 in a row.
-the feedback SC lets you envelope follow the feedback similar to Octo Comb
-the sidechain knob multiband ducks the wet signal out of the way of the dry signal for more transparent layering.
-the top row corresponds to the normal knobs inside hyper chorus
-choose from 3 different spread types at the bottom: 100 wet on each chorus, 50/50 wet dry, or even distribution of chorus aka roughly 12% wet each round

NOTE: I'll be doing a youtube breakdown of all of these very soon, but I wanted you to have them for halloween given the theme much love, Nick / Runnit
