Nasko N-POWER

N-POWER is a powerful post-processing rack for basses, synths, fx and much more!

This is an OVERHAUL of the previous "N-POWER RACK", which has now seen an update to the DRIVE and previously named SOFT CLIP modules!

DRIVE is now a oversampled saturator with partial gain compensation! This is great for distortion and flavor before hitting the final limiter and smart clipper!

SMART CLIP has now been implemented in this rack and is replacing the previous SOFT CLIP module!

SMART CLIP is a transparent saturator that limits the lowend at 0dB while the rest of the frequency spectrum goes into a soft clipper! This results in mid- and high-frequency detail preservation and a more transparent final maximizer.

FEATURES:

OTT SECTION: multiband compression to flatten the dynamics of any incoming signal and bring out the detail!
DRIVE: a partially gain compensated oversampled soft clipper with up to 24dB of drive.
LIMIT: Compress your input signal to the max (0db) without distorting/clipping it! If you want to preserve the clarity/simplicity of a sound and don't want to add the extra harmonics that saturation adds, this is for you.
SMART CLIP: Transparent final soft clipper with mid/high frequency detail preservation. Smart Clip limits the sub frequency area at 0dB, which helps to keep the sub frequencies from distorting upper mid/high frequency content.
PHASE SECTION: With PHASE TEST you can turn any incoming signal MONO. This is for monitoring purposes, especially when using things like unison. SUB MONO cuts out the lowend stereo information, which can help with phase cancellation and odd panning!
MIDS AND SIDES: Rebalance a signals mono and stereo volumes! This is very useful for pushing existing but quiet stereo information or rebalancing the mids of your input signal aka pushing the mono signal.
OUT GAIN: Take control over pesky artifacts and tails or use it creatively to polish your final output!
EQ8: an eq placed in between the processing chain, allowing for creative eqing and polishing!

Update: N-POWER now uses the updated N-Smart Clip module
