This pack represents about 8 years of sound and sample design through the span of my releases as Wolfgang Gartner. The samples could essentially be used to make any style of music, but were mostly plucked from my collection of home-made electro house and progressive sounds which I regularly make in batches. The sounds were made using software and hardware; about half and half.

The Novachord is a gargantuan, entirely tube based, 72-note polyphonic synthesizer with oscillators, filters, VCAs, envelope generators and even frequency dividers. We sampled every one of the 72 notes on this beast - not just once, but over and over, with different settings each time.

Reamped Drums is based on a series of recording sessions with Bombastik Drum Recordings, using the most exquisite vintage drum sets, amps and mics: Orange & Craviotto, Marshall and Neumann, to name just a few. We are proud, and a little bit spooked, to present the VHS Crosstalk Sound Pack. Experience a variety of bleeding, interfering and harrowingly magnetic sounds from the VHS era. All samples were processed and mastered on 1/2-inch magnetic tape using home VHS recorder equipment.
