Drums In Colour is a collection of 100 original drum breaks and percussion loops. The vision when creating this kit was to revive the drum tones and textures of the late 60s and 70s. Each drum break and percussion loop was recorded and mixed giving specific warm tone, color and character, achieved by the live room and gear used. Mics used include Coles 4038 ribbon mic and Shure SM57s. Reel to reel tape saturation, natural ambience and analog processing equipment were the main components to achieve this goal: Chandler TG2 Abbey Road, UA 1176, Teletronix LA2A, among others. Drums In Colour is a must have for any music producer’s toolbox.

For decades the groundbreaking sounds of modern music have been tied to the electric guitar, especially during the heyday psychedelic era of the late '60's and early '70's. Modern Guitar Psychedelia pays homage to the guitar sounds that defined an era while also looking forward to the sound of today's modern music.

Following up on the success of Splice Originals: Elegant Strings, Majestic Strings embraces the stylistic choices of chamber pop, incorporating classical elements under the backdrop of modern pop harmonies. These strings are fit to add drama to any trap track, elegance to pop productions, or mystique to any rnb ballad.

Drums From The Crypt is a collection of drum samples that embodies the analog warmth of the 70's, grungy textures of the 60's, and dirty crypt like vintage tones. We pushed the boundaries with this kit by experimenting with diverse structures to capture natural reverb and depth for a few of the one shots. One of those locations being the old abandoned zoo habitats in Los Angeles. Weird and unique loops matched with grimy psychedelic vintage textures is what gives "Drums From The Crypt" its originality. - Beat Batter

Tropical Vice is Ray Luminais's latest Splice Originals release inspired by his recent trip to Miami, where he visited multiple nightclubs like STORY and Centro. While enjoying the nightlife, he paid particular attention to the vibe of the music with its smooth blends of Latin-infused pop and rap that kept the night going. He wanted to bring that Miami vibe back home with this pack. Inspired by the city itself, he interpreted the colorful artwork of the Wynwood neighborhood with his music.
