Demonic Bass, Cutting Leads & Swarming FX From the Insectile Synth
The WASP is a funky, dual-oscillator synthesizer designed by Chris Hugget in the late 70s, who would later go on to make the esteemed OSCar synthesizer. One of the earliest hybrid synths, it features two digital oscillators that feed an insane, multimode analog filter whose character lends itself to the buzzy arthropod it was named after.

The organ of the monastery church of Riddagshausen near Braunschweig was built in 1979 by the renowned organ workshop of Alfred Führer in the neo-baroque style. It is designed very similar to the first organ of the church, built around 1619 by Heinrich Compenius the younger. Like the Compenius organ the new instrument comprises 31 stops on three manuals and pedal and fills the large church room with its beautiful sound. The disposition and the pipe scaling are closely following the original instrument. With its warm fundamentals and expressive reeds it is per­fectly suited for a wide repertoire, even romantic and contemporary music.

The Synare is an analog drum synth created in the mid 70s by Star Instruments. It looks and sounds like the most evil, analog flying saucer you've ever heard. The oscillators are huge, and reminiscent of much more expensive vintage synths - colored and extremely characterful - and the filter has the meanest resonance we've ever heard.

The Drumulator's sounds out of the box are cold, dead and compressed. Originating from super dry, acoustic drums, but hardened through old skool converters, the bass drum is weightless but punchy. The snare is a recognizeable classic from so many 80s and early hip hop records. The rim is dry and surprisingly realistic sounding and the clap is one of my all time favorites from any drum machine.
