This is the first in a series of sessions we recorded at Red Bull Studios NYC. Afro Cuban percussion provides some of the most emotive and dynamic sounds known. Toronto-based producer/composer Quin Kiu has appeared as a guest on some Kingsway volumes, most notably on the Waves sample “W1 Q” which was placed on Lil Mosey’s track “Rockstars” last year. Since then, he has spent the last few months digging into his own volume, using his skills as an instrumentalist to craft a library that is rife with guitars, violins, pianos, Rhodes, synths and all manner of digitally manipulated field recordings.
