Original chilled-out compositions and flute melodies were re-sampled, chopped, and layered to create glowing textures and emotive melody loops. We recorded fresh flute melodies across a variety of styles, from folk and neo-classical to jazz and hip-hop, which work across a number of genres including modern trap, RnB, EDM, and house music.

Bansuri is a side-blown flute made from bamboo, used traditionally in Hindustani classical music. For this sample collection, Sonic Collective & Found Sound Nation teamed up with Bansuri master Tanzeem Haider, from Pakistan to prepare a set of gorgeous and highly loopable melodies, melodic runs, flutter-tongued gestures and individual notes.
