Splice Country West Coast Country

Splice Country West Coast Country

West Coast country transports you to laid-back early 1970s California. It's country rock with a psychedelic, yet lounge-like flourish. When country music production made its way to the West Coast mainstream, it had already transitioned from the smooth Nashville sound to the back-to-basics harder-edged variant of progressive country known as Outlaw Country.

West Coast Country borrows from both while blending blues, swing, honky-tonk, rockabilly, psychedelia, and rock n' roll. Performers on this pack include Connor Gallaher on pedal steel and guitar, Piece Gibson on drums, Noel Friesen on bass and guitar, and Eli Salus-Kleiner on Electric Piano and Wurlitzer keys.
