Montage by Splice Sounds Oracles Vocal Explorations

Distant murmurs creeping closer, a wind of secrets rushes by you, smothered voices that you can't quite understand, a twirling siren song that enchants you and draws you in; where are you? Welcome to the in between limbo space of Oracles, a mysterious world of vocals that open portals to your musical future.

Oracles: Vocal Explorations is the brainchild of vocalist and producer Kathryn Shuman, with help from Little Lux and Sharon Chohi Kim captured at Splice's LA studios. Inspired by the innovative score of the spine-chilling psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling that used experimental vocal techniques, this pack is an ominous and unique collection of cinematic vocal curiosities. Using a myriad of unusual methods, like vocal splitting, group hocketing, and physical and object manipulation, the singers created an unusual palette filled with vocal fx, melodies, and layers that are ideal for any cinematic score. You'll find hundreds of whispers, murmurs, shrieks, overtones, and gasps both dry and processed with a variety of experimental effects. If you are looking for a sense of foreboding, anxiety, mystery or unsettled tension in your next production or track, these samples will set the tone. Step into the world of Oracles and let the power of the voice take over.
