LEX Sounds Loop Deville Vinyl Soul

LEX Sounds Loop Deville Vinyl Soul

Forged from passion, fire, and soul, Loop Deville explores the classic sounds of classic 1970’s Soul music with a modern flare. Inspired by southern hip hop architects UGK, Three 6 Mafia, Outkast, and The Dungeon Family, “Loop Deville'' aims to capture the nostalgia and elegance of a classic Cadillac Coupe Deville in sonic form. This pack contains a blend of live instrumentation combined with modern production techniques to give producers all the tools they need to make bangers. This pack combines dusty drum breaks, cinematic strings, soulful guitar riffs, mellow keys, and silky basslines to create compositions that sound like they’ve been ripped from your dad's vinyl collection.

This is the third sample pack from New Orleans based producer, Ciel Rouge (Dirty South Starter Pack, The Juice), who managed to produce this pack during the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Inspired by the sounds of his youth, Rouge discovered that the soulful slow jams of the 1970s and the modern classics of groups like Outkast shared a common thread. The sounds these artists created were oftentimes reactions to conditions and conflicts of their times.

A musical answer to oppression, discrimination, poverty, war, trauma, etc. It's easy to forget that when you call something “soulful” you must acknowledge that it touches the listener in a deeper place, beyond that of pure physical or emotional enjoyment. Rouge crafted this pack as an ode to the old school; a nostalgic reflection of the music that shaped his childhood and his adolescence and a chance to provide a bit of light during hard times.

Portions of the revenue generated from this pack will go to support musicians and their families who were affected by Hurricane Ida
