Splice Originals El Paisa Tropical Reggaeton

For Splice Originals: El Paisa - Tropical Reggaeton, Honduran producer Erick Bardales and LA-based musician Ben Kahn were inspired by the reggaeton pop sound that’s been taking over the airwaves since the release of “Despacito”. They pulled from South American and Central American influences with a strong focus on Colombian music.

You’ll find reggaeton standbys like the Dembow loop and bomba influences mixed with electric guitar, ukelele, Latin percussion - such as cumbia, Afro-Honduran, and Panamanian dance rhythms - and synths, including Astra by Splice.
