The wait is finally over! The ‘Dirty Drummer’ is back with a vengeance with the next round of fat and filthy MPC finger drumming kits!

This time there’s double the fatness with two complete multisampled drum kits dripping with crunchy, greasy vibes featuring a full spread of essential drum articulations to create your own thumping head-nodding breaks including kicks, snares, open and closed hats, snare rolls, ghost hits, cymbals and percussion, all recorded over multiple dynamic levels to nail that natural acoustic sound.



Each kit has been set up with intuitive finger drumming in mind, painstakingly optimised for each and every MPC model ever made taking full advantage of the different features of each MPC.

The default kit set up for all samplers is for ‘velocity switching’ where each pad plays back one of up to four dynamic levels depending on how hard the pad is hit. For more recent MPCs (MPC Software, MPC Essentials, MPC5000 and JJOSXL) there’s also ‘cycle kit’ versions that play back a different sample timbres each time the pad is hit (‘round robins’) for ultra-realistic playback even with FULL LEVEL turned on.

We've covered all legacy MPCs with dedicated versions for the MPC1000/2500 (suitable for both Akai OS and JJOS), a special 12 pad optimised layout for the MPC500, a 24 bit MPC4000 AKP and memory-optimised programs for the MPC2000/XL/3000/60 (OS 3.1 required for the MPC60).

There’s also an ‘MPC Expansion Pack’ included for MPC Software users who prefer to install their kits in the dedicated Expansion Browser (separate XPM files included for those who prefer the standard file browser), and even dedicated versions for Native Instrument’s Maschine (1/8/2.x) and Battery 4!
