UFO Tone is a multi-sampled metallic tuned percussion library that encapsulates a special hang drum from another realm. At Soundiron, we love anything rare, weird, or mysterious. This one checks all three boxes. We may have found this artifact halfway buried in a field, like it was dropped off from an extraterrestrial visit… After cleaning it off, we took it to St. Paul's Church in San Francisco - the same location we sampled Requiem Light Choir, Symphony Series Brass, and Alpha Organ.

Our Kazoo library was created with our world-class kazoo ensemble, featuring some of the finest hand-crafted wax paper and plastic wind instruments that money can buy. The noble Kazoo is recognized as perhaps the very pinnacle of human musical instrument engineering, with a sound just as renowned for its subtlety as it is for its noble majesty. We gathered together four of the finest kazoo virtuosos in the world to capture this power ensemble collection. This brilliant sample set was recorded in our private studios, using a wide stereo pair of large diaphragm Neumann microphones to achieve brilliant tone and fidelity.

Elvish Choir is exactly what it sounds like: A pack of rowdy elven folk singing as an ensemble, with sustains, short staccatos and long staccatos/semi-marcatos in multiple dynamics over a fairly wide range. Ancient Greek Strings is a fantastic collection of 7 deeply sampled stringed instruments that delve deeply into the historic roots of Western musical traditions, stretching back thousands of years. This library features a Barbiton, Cithara, Lyre, Goat Horn Lyre, Pandura, Phorminx and Trigonon. Crafted of wood, gut and goat skins, these classic musical artifacts capture the sound and spirit of classical Greek civilization at its height. The influence they have had on modern harps, guitars and zithers is clearly audible and plain to see in these faithful reconstructions. Each piece was hand-crafted by master craftsman Panagiotis Stefos of LyrΑvlos in Athens. Stefos and his team played each instrument, all recorded in exquisite detail by producer John Valasis, with 8 round-robins and 4 dynamic velocities per string.

Ancient Greek Percussion is a fantastic collection of 6 deeply sampled hand percussion instruments that explore the oldest roots of Western musical traditions, stretching back thousands of years – and likely with roots that easily predate all of recorded history. This library features a Crotalum, Kymbalon, Sistrum, 15-inch Tympanon, 22-inch Tympanon, and Tympanon Zill. Crafted of wood, gut, goat skins and bronze, these rustic musical artifacts capture the sound and soul of classical Greek musical craftsmanship at its peak. Their influence has shaped modern frame drums, riqs, dafs, tambourines and finger cymbals. Each piece was hand-crafted by master instrument maker and musical historian Panagiotis Stefos of LyrΑvlos in Athens. Stefos and his team played each instrument, all recorded in exquisite detail by producer John Valasis, with up to 12 round-robins and 10 dynamic velocities per articulation.
