Full synthesis. Nonlinear by design.
Vortessa is a generative synthesis environment for Max/MSP built around a single principle: sound is not programmed, it emerges. Internal relationships between 26 modules - not fixed sequences - determine what you hear.
Designed to generate unstable percussions, glitch, drone, ambient soundscapes, and future drums. Every run is unique. No two sessions are identical.

Requirements

Important Required Dependency.
Vortessa's Dissect module uses Data Knot by Rodrigo Constanzo, which requires FluCoMa (Fluid Corpus Manipulation) to be installed in Max.
Before using the Dissect module, please install FluCoMa via the Max Package Manager:
In Max → File → Show Package Manager → search FluidCorpusManipulation → Install
Once installed, restart Max completely.
FluCoMa is free and open source. All other Vortessa modules work without it.
