David Forner Lux Violin

David Forner Lux Violin

Introducing Lux Violin by David Forner – an exquisite addition to the acclaimed series. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for sonic excellence, Lux Violin brings the soulful beauty of a violin to your fingertips.

Building upon the success of Barbarian Cello, this Kontakt instrument offers a rich and expressive experience for composers, producers, and musicians alike.

Rebowing Engine
Lux Violin employs a one-of-a-kind rebowing engine, meticulously designed to allow you to repeat notes on long articulations whenever you want in a natural way.

It achieves this by incorporating up to 5 variations per note, effectively eliminating the "machine gun effect."

Furthermore, the repetitions are extracted from phrases, ensuring a natural and authentic performance.

The Legato Engine
A legato which has two different types of transitions that are activated depending on your performance and that make this instrument especially good with fast passages.

The regular transitions have been meticulously recorded up to an octave both up and down and the fast transitions have been recorded up to a perfect fourth so you can seamlessly do fast ornaments and runs.

Many Options
Lux Violin features a wide variety of articulations covering the lowest to the highest dynamic ranges. Legato, harmonics, flautando, 3 types of swells and much more.

In addition, the long articulations feature soft and hard attacks for added expressive possibilities.

The short articulations have been extracted from phrases for a greater naturalness and better connection between them, highlighting the spiccato with 12 round robins and 5 dynamic layers.

User Interface
The interface has three different modes:

1. With keyswitch mode you can change the articulation using the red keys located in the highest register of the keyboard.

2. The split mode will allow you to divide the keyboard into two different parts, for example being able to play legato on the right side and sustains on the left.

3. With morph mode you can transform an articulation into another that you want, very useful for example to transform the flutando into harmonics or any other combination that you like.

Individual patches are also available if you like to work this way or you want to save resources.
