Known for its crushing overdrive tones, this amp has been setting the standard for hard rock and heavy tones for decades. The overdrive channel has more gain on tap than you would know what to do with but this amp also can deliver a wide variety of tones from sparkly and deep cleans, polite British classic rock crunch, and, of course, brutal skull-crushing gain. As is the standard, we recommend throwing your favorite tube screamer style circuit in front of the overdrive channel to experience the sound that we have all come to adore from this amp. While it may sound odd to say, don't sleep on the clean channel of this amp! As players who mainly play low to mid-gain amps, we were both very pleased and impressed with the clean offering of the Rockerverb.
