Daniel East is back with a well crafted, emotive volume of samples that is sure to stoke the coals of imagination. Daniel is always expanding his musical toolbox as an instrumentalist, and this volume finds him drawing on those efforts - incorporating lots more guitars, bass, keys and strings than his previous efforts.

Matt MacNeil has various musical identities - a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, the Toronto-based MacNeil has been a figure both as a solo artist, and bandmate to Kingsway alum Matthew Tavares with their indie-rock project Homer.

Waves lives up to his name on his third volume - with a collection of wavey, glitchy and dense samples that defy any genre distinctions you could place on them. Experimental patterns and unique effects render the instrumentation almost indiscernible, instead drawing the listener’s ear with melodies created by the manipulation of sounds rather than their performance.
